The Gingerbread Man

After listening to several versions of The Gingerbread Man in class, the students in E-8 brainstormed possible solutions to his problem. Maybe he will listen to their advice.

Dear Gingerbread Man,
Before you get out of the oven, make a cardboard gingerbread man to fool the fox.

Your friend, Madhav

Dear Gingerbread Man,
You can put a trap up and put a cookie in the trap. Then the fox will eat the cookie.

Your friend, Aaron

Dear Gingerbread Man,
Grab a cake, then throw the cake at all of them and run away.

Your friend, Thomas

Dear Gingerbread Man,
You run and you take a piece of paper and you trick the fox. He will think that the paper is you.

Your friend, Emily

Dear Gingerbread Man,
Throw cakes at everyone and throw a big rock at the fox.

Your friend, Paul

Dear Gingerbread Man,
You should make a whole bunch more of gingerbreads and they will attack the people and the fox.

Your friend, J.P.

Dear Gingerbread Man,
You should say, "I think I am brave". Then climb up a tree and then run back to the house.

Your friend, Isabel

Dear Gingerbread Man,
Set up a trap and it will make them go away. You will be safe.

Your friend, Hailey

Dear Gingerbread Man,
Throw cakes at their faces.

Your friend, Bryan

Dear Gingerbread Man,
I know, Gingerbread Man, climb up a tree.

Your friend, Jacob W

Dear Gingerbread Man,
You should invite friends over to your house. They will save you.

Your friend, Sherilyn

Dear Gingerbread Man,
When they come, you should watch when they come by you and go on the roof. I love you!

Your friend, Tyler

Dear Gingerbread Man,
Gingerbread Boy I know one idea. First throw some cake at all of the people. Then run away.

Your friend, Jenny

Dear Gingerbread Man,
Get a fake cardboard Gingerbread and put it on the fox's nose and run away.

Your friend, Abby

Dear Gingerbread Man,
When you come to a lake go into the woods and hide. The people might fall into the lake.

Your friend, Alex

Dear Gingerbread Man,
You can climb up in a tree. And then go back to the house and then hop into the oven.

Your friend, Jacob B

Dear Gingerbread Man,
Gingerbread Man, you can set a trap with a make believe Gingerbread Man. I love you!

Your friend, Jason

Dear Gingerbread Man,
Here's what you do. You need to fill your pockets with gingerbread pies and throw them at the people.

Your friend, McKenna

Dear Gingerbread Man,
You have to hide in the old woman's bedroom under the blanket so nobody could find you.

Your friend, Suhanee

We sure hope some of these ideas will keep the Gingerbread Man
from being eaten yet again...
